What did I learn from this project?

I learned a lot from this project. First of all, I know what is the real definition or the real meaning of global warming. I learned what could cause this horrible phenomenon, and what is the affects. So from this topic I can help and save our planet by reducing a lot of things or avoid any thing could cause global warming. I read many articles about it when I make my searches to write the project and I accepted a lot of information. The last article I read was about global warming in my country UAE and I noticed that we should try to solve the problem before it get worse. People should take care about this planet.

Individual Action:-

There are many things can be done individual by the UAE people to reduce the CO2 levels. As we know this gas effects the environment and causes many dangerous problems and a major problem is global warming. For example, everyone should reduce the uses of vehicles and try to use public transport where possible. Other example is to save energy in houses because co2 comes from the energy used to provide hot water and power appliances and lights. Yet another example people should plant more trees to reduce the carbon dioxide that we produce. Finally people should take care more about this problem and work for it.

UAE and Global Warming

I like to know how global warming relates to my country. I found an article in this site http://archive.gulfnews.com/articles/04/09/11/131567.html. In this article The United Nations said that global warming affect the Gulf's coral reefs. They mentioned also other problems which are the dumping of untreated sewage into the sea, and how this will affect our area. One of the results is the Gulf waters getting warmer. There are some collaborating on a project between the UAE and Qatar, to solve the problems and they put some solution and some suggestion for these problems.

I found a second article at http://archive.gulfnews.com/articles/07/03/05/10108903.html and its talk about the climate in the future in the UAE and oil-producing country. There will be big changes and increasing in the temperature and the reason is Global Warming. One cause could be carbon emission. A dangerous result there is increasing in sea levels in Bahrain coastline potentially losing up to 15 kilometers of it.

One Effect of Global Warming (Greenhouse):-

I will mention one of the important effects of global warming, which is the increase of the climate temperature that results in making the earth warmer.

The warming of the weather is caused by greenhouse gases. Gases like water vapor, carbon dioxide, ozone, methane and nitrous oxide are all increasing in the earth’s atmosphere because of human activities.

All of these gases keep heat in the earth’s atmosphere and they continue to increase more than in the past. Therefore, these gases affect the planet, and make it hotter and in turn this also affects the life of some animals and people also. It is a horrible problem so we should try to cooperate to find good solutions.

Effects Of Global Warming:-

There are many effects of global warming and many changes occur from global warming.

For example, we will start with the weather, the earth getting hotter from the (greenhouse) effects. Also flooding of cities next to the sea or ocean, and then an increase in stronger storms, less harvests and crops because of the change in rain and its pattern, also increases in the types of diseases and animal's extinctions and glaciers melting.

Scientists are studying the past changes in hope that they would teach people a bit more on the climate changes we are experiencing now. It is still not sure what would be the exact degree of climate change expected in the future, and especially how the changes will effect and how they differ in each country and area.

One Cause of Global Warming (smokes & gases from vehicles)

One of the main causes of Global warming is smokes and gases that came out from our cars, buses and other vehicles.

Everyday people use vehicles and for long time of hours and this affect the weather and the environment. The carbon that came from the vehicle is very dangerous. People should search and think for the best solutions.

We should reduce the use of these vehicles. The best solution is to use one car for 4 people. But nowadays every person drive a car and this is horrible. They can reduce the limit of danger by storing power instead of using oil or petrol. So we could save our planet from this dangerous problem.

Causes of Global Warming:-

The causes of global warming are many, and there are many reasons to why global warming spread. The first cause is the sun's heat and the increasing of the temperature.

Other causes of global warming is the air pollution that in the atmosphere, volcanic emissions, variations in the earth’s orbit and greenhouse gases.The causes for the last warming are still being researched and scientists proved that the increasing level of gases (like CO2) from human activities is a major cause of global warming.

Other gases can be main causes for the global warming is the gases that came from factories and the cars or other vehicles. Yet another cause Smokers effects the environment by smoking cigarettes or other things. People should care and challenge to be sure that solutions are put to use.
